It also isn't health insurance. I don't think I've been defending the status quo (at least not here) in insurance against hurricane damage. Heath insurance is as dysfunctional as property insurance. Well, health is probably worse in any place except FL and CA. Also opposing any of the specific plans for changes, or more generally opposing a much larger role for the government isn't really defending the status quo. Sorry, I just see you defending the status quo.
