Lady, we have been in Iraq six years now, longer than WWII and it's not getting better. We may have minor victories here and there but the big picture is still a total mess. Just last month we almost had war in Kurdistan. That was supposed to be the safest place in Iraq. Also, the Brits just left Basra and the violence stopped after they left. So that proves the same would probably be true if we left. Just like when we left Vietnam and they turned out to be no threat to us either. These quagmire wars are for profit and pride, nothing less. Bushies make and steal tens of billions and Bush gets to claim he didn't lose. And who pays the price? All of us but especially our poor military guys. Not to mention millions of Iraqis.
