True and I forgot ethanol.

I just wish everyone (but my bartender) would forget about ethanol.. It's corrosive.. can't be transported in existing gasoline pipelines (even blended). And it causes sharp inflation in the price of food commodities..

And finally, it's nothing more than a cynical attempt by which to capture the agricultural vote at the expense of the rest of the world.

If we're going to now rely upon the farmers to fuel, as well as feed, the world, then let them raise crops that produce bio-diesel, not ethanol.

I, for one, would love to see bio-diesel produced from massive algal farms.. It's quite possible right now..

But as the adage goes.. "Americans always do the right thing... After they've tried everything else.."
