Christ could have been a combination of Jewish rebel pacifist mystics of the era combined into one. Or he could have been one man, we'll never know.

One thing we can realize is that the virgin birth is an oxymoron, and that since no one has risen from the dead since it is extremely unlikely that Jesus did. However, I have no doubt he was crucified. The Romans of that era were a lot like the Bushies of this era and they crucify anyone who disagrees with them, or at least they try.

The date of Christmas was chosen to coincide roughly with the Roman holiday of Saturnalia, which ended on Dec. 24. Thats not of any significance though.
