I think Jesus would agree. The evangelical right in particular as well as many Catholics and others, think they are holier than though, but many do not practice what they preach, and actually espouse the opposite of Christ's real teachings, those being peace, love, forgiveness, tolerance, non-materialism, communal sharing and being good shepherds of nature.
