Thanks jack, hope it's not wrong and there's really two dozen new world-class Cu-Zn mines out there, about to start up -g- ... zinc stocks on the LME rose by six or seven thousand tonnes yesterday ... but the iranians don't seem to regard Mehdiabad as a priority, too busy doing other things

Have you ever heard estimations of the premium that SHG zinc gets, over LME prices? ... probably most is sold under contract, as there are fewer producers of electrowon metal, and the buyers would be specialty users who presumably would have to refine their own if they could only buy smelter zinc, but it seems logical that there would be a rule of thumb premium over LME ... on the other hand, maybe the number of these specialty users is limited, and more SHG produced could erode the premium, with some of it going to uses where purity is not required, hmm ... but i wonder what Skorpion gets for their product
