Ted, > I am glad to see your koolaid drinking is not restricted only to the Church and the RNC. Consistency suggests a well ordered mind, doesn't it?

You of all people should know how much I love to bring up old posts, so keeping everything as a matter of record is important to me.

Yet I have seen several instances where articles, web pages, and blogs get altered after the fact. One of the latest was the blog of ABCNews, who originally gave credit for Rush's $2.1M charitable auction to the Democrats. Later on, the blog entry was edited to remove that outrageous claim:

Google had an old cached entry for that page, but my link no longer works and who knows how long Google will keep the cached copy?

The point is that it's way too easy to lose or alter stored data. We don't have any system of authentication, nor do I suspect most people want one with regard to their casual e-conversations. It's way too easy to just point to a gap in the e-mail records and say, "OMG, someone deleted the e-mails! What did they have to hide?!?"

Please, if they had something to hide, they'd be a lot more meticulous in covering their tracks. The only one drinking the koolaid is you.
