As you, yourself, have pointed out, to Tim, as it turns out, the title of the thread is A US National Health Care System and the point is to address the pros and cons of that, not to come up with alternate plan B.

And as you well know the conversation meanders all over the place. Tim seems pretty happy with the status quo... he sure does defend it.
