A "paired trade strategy" seems to make sense and eliminate lots of volatility in turbulent markets. My long WMT and short BIG paired trade has been a huge winner for me. So, with that in mind, just added a huge chunk of GE (long) and matched it with an equal dollar weighting of SI (short). Regardless of the valuation methodology, General Electric looks like a much better bargain than does Siemens, and I'll choose a blue-chip, high quality, American Conglomerate over a crooked, patsy, European one any day! Seems as though investors have forgotten than SI is undergoing a major SEC investigation right now.
