Bushies are the biggest spenders in world history. Also, who says we can't cut defense spending? Tens of billions are being literally thrown away and stolen in Iraq alone. That's money we desperately needed back home for all kinds of improtant things. Our military isn't great because of how huge and bloated defense contracts are, it's great because of smarts, training, efficiency, morale and most of all honest leadership at the top which has been sorely lacking since Tora Bora. Frankly, the entire Pentagon budget needs a thorough review, reform and streamlining. And the last thing we need build up for some presumed imaginary "world war".
