Kerry never flipflopped on anything. That was all a rightwing smear. Even when he voted for Bush's war powers he promised that if Bush didn't go the UN route and pore-plan carefull to win the peace not just the war, he would hold Bush's feet to the fire.

The mistake was trusting Bush, but most Americans made that mistake after 9-11. And many still are.

a) The "dutiful soldier"?

b) The anti-war activist?

c) The one who tossed his medals over the fence? No, wait, it was someone else's medals, but he pretended that they were his at the time, just so later in life he could use them in a presidential bid ...

d) The one who called the American troops in Vietnam "rapists" and mutilators ... before he supported our troops in Iraq ... before he insulted their intelligence?

If you're going to flip-flop, at least do it in a more convincing manner. Like Hillary, for instance ...
