person that wins is the one you'd most likely wan to have a Beer with. Yup, exactly. In most of the rest of the world it's accepted that you want superior people to lead the country: highly talented, knowledgeable, experienced. It's a tough job that demands the best. But in the US we want "regular Joes". A moron just like the rest of us, to make us "feel good about ourselves". I once heard the Singapore PM speak. No TV-presence at all, let alone charisma. He's just a massively competent leader, well-versed in policy, who runs a tight ship. He wouldn't get elected as dogcatcher in this country.
