another thought i had would be that BAC just purchase the servicing portfolio. of course to me that would mean that CFC banruptcy pretty inevitable and if I were a debt holder I might try to block that deal.

cfc purchase is official-.1822 of BAC stock. I suspect BAC going down at the open. One of the guys at Fast Money said it was akin to your broker suggesting that you triple down on a stock that had dropped 70% after you bought it. Not something that is generally recommended *S*.
