Yes, Schiavo was completely braindead without any sensory perception. The rightwing lunatics and political exploiters of her death totally lied about this. As a result, GOP support dropped 10% nationally after the fiasco, and then kepy giong down after that. Schiavo was the worst single political blunder the GOP has made. It exposed them as total BS artists pandering to lunatic radical liars in the so-called "pro life" movement, which only seems to care about "life" in very certain situations which they can politically exploit. for instance, they support taking away womens reproductive rights, but they don't support universal health care for babies. Judge for yourself if they are really moral people or not.
