"What kind of incentive would one have for picking him or herself up and bettering themselves if at the end the government was going to steal everything from you that you have 'earned'. Well you might have earned it but you now dead. Dead people don't play golf, they don't step on Superman's cape and they damn sure don't pay taxes. The "estate", for which the average dead guy has no further use, is now, watch closely here, "income" to the heirs. That is why it is called an "estate tax". Joe6pack is taxed on his labor. Multimillionaires in waiting, ie heirs, should be taxed on their income too.

LOL.. I see my post hit a NERVE even if it was satire.. :) But that's what a good writer of satire is supposed to do..Not show their true feelings, no letting on :) Stimulated a bit of conversation.. Good.. So let's let them inherit a max of 10K and see how far they get on their OWN.. LOL.. I am willing, my next time around.. Hell, I inherited a few.. Hell No, more than a few, but I want it STOPPED NOW, since I got MINE.. :) Spoken like a TRUE Regressive.. :) But the difference is, we made it before, and we KNOW where it came from, so we spread it around..
