Thanks. Yes, many people hate to hear the truth. The truth on this subject is that the object is not to nominate Obama or anyone else, it's to win in November. So playing footsie with the rightwing smear campaigns and actually re-posting their slurs is highly self-defeating.

I have said from the beginning that the only real issue with me is electability. That's why I support Edwards. But he will need a miracle now, so I will support whomever the nominee is.

Obama is a phenomenon, but not as rare as many think. Every four years there is a liberal "outsider" who galvanizes the left and inspires a huge mob. Last time it was Dean. Before that there was a whole list of them. In the end, they rarely win. But this time, Obama might. Because as you can see from all the Kerry type endorsements, the CLintons do not control the Dem party as some claim. They are only one big part of it. And apart from Bill's sex life, the Clintons really haven't done anything wrong. In fact, they were great for the country in the 90's, so I'm not going to complain too much if Hillary is the nominee. She'd probably make a solid president. That said, she's my third choice, so we'll see.
