I think going over there would be stupid. One has to travel down some nasty, crowded roads to get into Half Moon Bay.

92 will be packed and is bad on a good day for commuters. All the other roads will be nasty also . That route from Woodside Rd into La Honda is like a bobsled run. Highway 1 from Santa Cruz will be horrible also.

Besides, one can't see much cause the waves are 1/2 mile from the beach. Two years ago some rocks fell down off a cliff onto some onlookers and sent them to the hospital.

There is a big screen broadcast at Pac Bell Park.

I think that sitting at home and watching on the web will be more comfortable. My friends in Half Moon Bay will be watching on the web...........they don't want to leave their house during the contest..........it's a zoo.
