LOL.
Conservatives are not anti-military. And they usually know what they're talking about. Paul is no conservative.

Having come into this with no pre-conceived favorite, I now think there are only two true conservatives in the race. Thompson and Romney. One has been asleep for months, the other has too plastic a facade to get a passionate following.

Re: "So, you are saying McCain and Huckabee? With Ron Paul always there because he has the money and the patience to not go away?"

I believe it's the polls, and the campaign contributions that are saying that.... (Your point about Paul being the best funded of the candidates is true though....)

One small addition however... I believe that there will be an available slot for *one* more candidate to hand on for a while after Feb. fifth, (albeit probably in a weakened position).

It could be Willard, or it could be Rudolph --- seems too hard to say which just yet.

We should know that within 30 days though....

(Depends a lot on the MI and FL finishes.)

McCain and Huckabee have the best odds right now I think.

Prediction market odds changing rapidly:

intrade.com

(Right now they show a McCain/Huckabee ticket as the odds-on GOP leading possibility... while, just handicapping the top of the ticket, they show #1 McCain #2 Giulianni #3 Huckabee #4 Romney.)
