>Who is Whouley?

He's considered the foremost Democratic expert in get-out-the-vote strategy.

His effects bear out in the polls... Hillary did better than Obama and better than expected in the areas with the highest population density. Those are the places where you conduct last-minute get-out-the-vote efforts.

He did the same thing with the Kerry campaign.

>Exactly, Ten. Those tears won her New Hampshire!

I don't think so. Michael Whouley won her New Hampshire (just like he won Kerry NH). The polls bear that out pretty well.

He's the Dem's Karl Rove. They call him "the wizard". He's really good at getting out the vote. I don't agree with Z that its the sole reason for her win in NH. After all, Whouley was running the get-out-the-vote in Iowa and it didn't work there. I definitely think the crying had to do with it.....actually I think there were probably several factors that contributed to her win.

What surprises me is how negative people are getting over Obama's loss. He only lost by 2 percentage points when just a month before he was expected to lose by double digits. NH is a funny state......the people are an odd bunch. My sister lives there and complains about them on a regular basis. I hardly believe that NH has determined the nominee for either party. In any case, we'll have to wait and see.
