I think RP's position on SS is roughly as follows:

1. Young folks should be able to opt out of the system as it is basically unsound as a pension scheme.

2. The current and near retirees should be funded out of the savings from eliminating all 730+ US bases over seas... including foreign military aid.

I am not advocating this view, but I think that roughly describes it.
