Uh, you got me here :-)

Years ago I read all TA books I could get hands on, but I have never really started using TA, since I'm 'resource buy and hold' kind of trader/investor. (not that I'm proud of, mind you) <vbg>

Now lately, I'm playing a little bit with charts, but what little I know I've collected all over around, many things from the internet...

I do remember, there was one book I really liked because of it's simplicity:

amazon.com

And we are here usually trying to buy stocks which (by his description) are going from stage 1 into stage 2.

Book has great reviews, and I remember, many traders post it on their blogs as one of 'must read'.

Basically, every basic TA book writes about, trend lines, support resistance levels and higher hig's, lows, fib retracements....

All you really have to do (as I hear from others) :) is to put all together, to watch all these basic things and look for confirmations - several these basic ingredients need to agree - then you have better odds.

One of the reasons I don't really use charts that much is, every time I post chart with TA - it makes liar out of me. lol

There is one guy here, who mastered TA, and he use TA on daily basis, making consistent money...

Here he is:

I believe in his links (rules - header of the thread) you will find more useful material than in most of books.
