people here do." Probably not if Bush comes with trillion(s)
of "Aid" and pre-brokered deal(s). USA always do this in
foreign countries. Just like ALL 'trickle down' scheme, only
the "top players" benefit from such aids.
The Chinese, Vietnamese ... gov. on the other side against
communist, got tons of aids. Eventually, some people benefited
by such aids and USA got the honors as the payback, without
achieving the real intended goals. People only remember the
photo-opps, the ceremony .... It takes years/decades to
recognize the facts/results.
