It sure is a pain getting rid of the smell, especially since it has gotten out of the frig into the house.

Yesterday I bought two Gonzo odor eliminators (those lava rock things), one for the frig and the other, for the freezer section. Today I put one in the freezer. Just the bowl of vinegar I put in the refrigerator section seems to be helping--unless I am just getting used to the smell.

Tomorrow morning the furnace cleaning fellow is coming for my yearly servicing. His nose will be a good tester.

Go to your favorite beauty saloon supply and buy a gallon of hydrogen peroxide used for activating hair colorings. Do not use cream only use clear.

This peroxide will run about 20% vs 2% that you can buy in the drug store.

Place it in a dark spray bottle and spray anywhere you might expect odors to be.....it will oxidize all organic material and kill all odors. I have used it on colored fabric and it has not changed the fabric as a bleach would.

I learned this years ago from my brother when a dog whizzed on my aunt's carpet.....been using it ever since with puppy misbehavior.

it's cheap.....4$ a gallon.
