What worries me about the Pack is the Pat-effect. Yes, Green Bay has some of the pressure of being the overwhelming favorite to beat the Giants, but given New England's record, the Pack can think of themselves also as underdogs.

The Giants-Pats game was the only time in memory I ever rooted against the Giants. Had they won it, it would have almost been like winning the Super Bowl. They'd never hear the end of it if they then lost to the Bucs, so the pressure would have been unrelenting. That's why losing the way they did was better than a victory.

BTW, pocket passers, especially gunslingers like Favre, don't usually do well against the Pats who know how to bring pressure and disguise coverages. It would be much more fun to watch Eli Manning take a shot at them again. So I politely ask all Packers fans to depart from tradition and root for the Giants. Spread the word.
