Well since the accuser would have been well known, why did Christ only tell the woman to "go and sin no more"? Who frightened him more, the Romans or the Jews?

Jesus as a Rabbi

There were no Rabbis in Israel at that time. The position of Rabbi is a product of the diaspora. (The concept was in place in Babylon but no candidate for Jesus was connected to that community)
