you: Does anyone know when this deal is expected to close? I believe the shorting of SPSN and buying of Saifun allows the Wall Street crowd to play games with the PPS. I'm fearful the gaming of the stock will not stop until this Saifun deal is closed. Hopefully, the CC will put an end to this shorting and give us a big launch in the other direction. me: The only thing I've read is that sometime in q1 the deal is expected to close. Just as important is when the Numonyx deal is to close. This was also said to be q1 after not happening in q4. Actually, I don't think the shorting will end until either the stock price goes to zero or SPSN does something that gets the big boys involved in the stock again. I don't think the completion of the SFUN merger alone will deter the shorts in any way. Now if SPSN could reduce its q4 loss by half, then that might do something. Hopefully we'll get some news out of the CC, but lately news, of any sort, has been very hard to come buy. The company is late with products and not saying anything, not a good indicator. Sounds a lot like AMD.
