You must be kidding me... to vote for Liz Dole. I was dissing Hillary till recently but what I see on this thread I find myself in defense of Hillary. Comparing to Liz to Hillary is ridiculous. Liddy has been an utter failure and even Republican Senators would be happy to see her disappear. Her recruiting and fund drive for RSCC have been absolutely pathetic and while 2006 senate was a loss (bigger than expected) next year Republicans are bracing for even worse defeat (again defeat will be accentuated by her inability to recruit and raise funds). She is impotent and should join her husband for the blue drug commercial for Pfizer (or is it Merck)

<<Let's get Liz Dole to run! I'll vote for her.>>

I might want to do that if nobody better (or more current) came on board. I left the Labor Department before she came on board as the Big Boss, and later heard all the reports from the staffers I left behind in the Secretary of Labor's office......she was one tough cookie, not popular with the existing staff because she WAS tough, but you can't argue with her education/job resume or her overall knowledge of government, plus overall poise and ease at dealing with issues and the media. She's getting a little elderly now, though, so it wouldn't work with the voters. She had a couple of equals in this regard, while I was working in government....one was Bill Brock.
