well Oblivious I'll tell you something. I had my taxes cut in half under Bush because my section 179 deductions went from 25K to over 130K in the bush term- all I have to do is buy a 6000lb SUV or some other pork nightmare pushed on my by this administration.

But the problem is, these tax cuts in addition to the massive spending caused the dollar to crash, and our markets to collapse. Virtually all americans with money in any kind of liquid markets were better off in 2000 than they are now, in real terms. This secular bear market reminiscent of the 70s is something I never thought possible until Dumbya. In the 90s I thought it would take another Carter and we got one- Dumbya whose fiscal recklessness is worse than Carter.

If I could get the dollar back to where it was in 2000 but I would have to sacrifice raising taxes to what they were, would I do it- HELL YES.

Did better financially under Bill Clinton. Paid less than a dollar for gas, got great jobs and pay during internet boom. Under GW Fush, taxes are increasing as well - in terms of tolls, inflation, local taxes, etc etc. and on top of all this, debt per capita is so high. Value of mine and many others wealth has been eaten up eroding value of dollar (Thanks to gold and foreign currency etfs it is not as bad).

I get so damn tired of hearing how bush cut taxes. He didn't cut anything he only deferred taxes with a massive amount of interest to the suckers of the next generation. Jesus people open your eyes has anybody seen the deficit lately. Bush hasn't cut shit!! Oh my bad he did cut the value of the dollar by 50% and if you listen to CNBC that is a good thing...ok whatever yeah we now on at the same level of the peso and that is good. Bush screwed us over so royally I don't know if we will ever be able to recover.

Of course taxes are going up in the future cause we blew it all under this f**k up administration. Lets see, so what did we get for the 4.5 trillion in tax deferments Bush gave us...thats what I thought....shit.
