Bush Stagflation Recession Erupted Today Like A Volcano. I just heard on the news that inflation spiked more than any period in 26 years this month, taking us back to inflation-adjusted $3.50 gasoline during the Jimmy Carter era. There is a difference though. Carter was a victim of OPEC and the collapse of the Shah. Bush and his cronies actively TRIED to triple the cost of gasoline and defivcit spend like there's no tomorrow. We will soon be reminded of the 50% of the message the so-called "conservatives" don't tell us. Yes it's "our money" but it's also "our debt". Plus interest. SO bankrupting our government just to give the rich a tax break is a very reckless and dishonest idea.
