As I have often posted, I have been using FXY as a money-market account, and it's been a good idea. Wish I had done something leveraged with the yen, but too speculative for me.

It has seemed to me that the dollar index had quite a resistance level (though I don't do technical analysis) at 75.5, for some reason. It broke that today.

If the world markets see Bernanke actually cutting anohter half-point, antidollar panic could set in. It looks more and more like intentional devaluation, or at best, reckless disregard for the dollar's value.
