If convection "heats" a greenhouse, then why does it not heat a greenhouse with opaque walls & roof? Convection "heats" a green house in exactly the same way that releasing tie downs on a hot air balloon "causes" it to rise.

It is common to refer to a process of mixing cool and hot to control the internal energy of something as controlling the heating or controlling the cooling.

Yes, you like many others are confused about the issue of temperature regulation in a greenhouse, vs what heats it. Screw the cooling, the question is about what heats it. Convection has nothing to do with heating it.

However, I will try to avoid posting more on this issue to you. I doubt you will ever comprehend anything on the subject.
