Hey, far be it from me to ever stand up for the Wamu's, Citi's, Countrywide's, etc. of the world. I won't defend their actions, and it looks like plenty of shady things going on there. None of it has anything to do with misleading the public about the fact that the mortgages they were taking out would have drastic increases in payments in just a few short years........ How about some personal responsibility?? Do these fools taking out these mortgages not have a brain?? Do they not comprehend basic math?? I'm against any and all socialistic-styled gov't bailouts for over-extended people without brains. If it's private money, then fine. Why so touchy?? Are you hoping for a bailout on your 2-28??
