To: StockDung who wrote (4970 ) 1/16/2008 10:31:36 AM From: nova222 Respond to of 5673 truthseeker, again, the other Mercy donors that you refer to do not have a brother that was involved with the IIRO, a terrorist financier that funneled millions of dollars to Global Chemical in Chicago, a company run by a director of Mercy, a chemical company which the feds raided and shut-down their bomb-making operations. Nor do the other Mercy donors have a father who was involved with terrorist bomb-maker, Mohamad Sallah. You are being disingenious. Being a Mercy "donor" isn't solely the issue. Case in point, there are those here on SI that donated to MTHO (an al Qeada humanitarian front). SI donors were not aware of what Tony, an agent of MTHO, was up to with the money any more than your list of Mercy donors were aware of Umar Al-Qadi's terrorist ties, ties to IIRO, Global Chemical, Sallah, bomb-making and the bombing of the US Embassy in Africa. You can attempt to lump Tony in with the Clinton's, and other corporations and entities that donated to Mercy. Again, the donations are not the issue. I believe you understand that. The issue you need to address, to be taken seriously IMO, are Elgindy's ties to the IIRO and terrorist bomb-maker Sallah. Not ties solely through a "donation". You need to address the terrorist ties that seemingly link all the patriarchs in the Elgindy family, if you want to be taken seriously. Michigan-based Mercy International In the United States, Mercy International originally went by the name Human Concern International (HCI), an organization created in the 1980s to support the Afghan jihad against the Soviets. Their Pakistan offices were headed by Ahmed Khadr, a close associate of bin Laden and an al Qaeda moneyman. In 1989, HCI changed its name to Mercy International-USA and moved to Michigan . In response to news reports implicating "Mercy International" in the embassy attacks, Umar al-Qadi, president of Mercy in Michigan and founder of Mercy International Relief Agency in Canada, has publicly insisted that his organization had no relation to the organization in Kenya or the bombings themselves. Qadi explained that his group was named "Mercy International-USA" while the group in Kenya was "Mercy International Relief Agency." However, in July of 1995, Umar al-Qadi himself registered a "Mercy for International Relief Agency" in Ontario, Canada, which he described as a sister organization. nationalreview.com Domain Name:MERCYUSA.ORG Created On:12-Jul-1996 04:00:00 UTC Last Updated On:26-Dec-2005 16:49:20 UTC Expiration Date:11-Jul-2010 04:00:00 UTC Sponsoring Registrar:eNom, Inc.
