Sounds like a good plan.

I am into some energy positions for income and for the very long haul, but got lots of bearish things, too.

As to real estate, I admit to actually being tempted by some local studio condos as a place to work and as guest quarters for visitors, at about $89,000. But have not yet thought seriously of buying one (I don't know what the utilities and fees might run).
