buy a box of all bran and make some muffins. i use applesauce instead of sugar. add raisins , nuts, do not use white flour, add egg whites vs whole egg. take that with a few niacin and it will clean up your problems.. it will cause quite a flush until system gets cleaned out or used to the niacin.. do not get the non flush , but niacin. i think in 1000 units i take two with a bran muffin i made from recipe on back off box. read about it in a book written about thirty years ago by a guy who couldn't control his.. and i have been doing this for 15 years and keep mine under control. no drugs.

Since then I've dropped about 40 pounds, and my cholesterol is dropping too.

Exercise, oatmeal, and low fat intake are key, I think.

Keep that cholesterol down, by whatever means. I'm sitting in the Critical Care Family Waiting Area at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, where my mother this morning underwent quintuple bypass surgery. She's in ICU now and doing well, but is still intubated and under anesthesia. Surgeon says the operation went well.

I plan to do whatever is within my power not to have this happen to me. Her coronary arteries were 80% blocked, and but for the surgery, a heart attack would not have been far off.
