slowly but surely, all of our major financial institutions are taking on foreign partners. That wouldn't be a big deal if the Fed did not control the money supply through them. I don't know the answer or whether it's a bad thing. It just seems odd to have foreigners in that position. Of course, they may be more responsible than our native financiers. I doubt it, but it could happen. I know that the Chinese do not suffer losses gracefully. <G>
