Jonah Goldberg was on MSNBC's "mornin' joe" show today. He is the first conservative to admit a couple of things: 1. He and other conservatives will not back Huckleberry because "he really is a compassionate conservative." 2. That Bush was never a compassionate conservative. "That was just a way to win an election." The guy is Neanderthal, but I love the fact that he doesn't realize how true his statements about his fellow conservatives are. As John Kenneth Galbraith once said of William F. Buckley: "You always know what position Bill is going to take. If it has anything to do with human compassion, he's against it." <G>
