OTOH, Spansion is profitable if NOR prices rise by just a bit over 10% (taking Q3 numbers). Memory prices can go up or down that much in a week. With Numonyx on its own, I think there's a good chance that prices go up by as much as 40% (which is what is needed for Numonyx to break even).

I am not talking about EBITDA. If one takes into account the depreciation, SPSN has not been profitable in 2005, 2006 and will not be profitable in 2007 (4Q results are not out yet) nor will they will be profitable in 2008!
