Stimulation packages are just more deficit spending. We as a nation need to start paying as we go like we did back in the 90's. It's like giving gambling addicts who've lost their money more chips. But at least the democrats want to give breaks to those who really need it. The problem with trickle-down Bushie economics is that they give to the very richest. Not only don't they need it, they don't deserve it.

When he was running against Reagan, GHW Bush pointed this out and he was right. But Reagan run, gave the rich the big breaks and ramped up deficit spending at the same time. Like in the past six years there was a boom based on the spending, but then it all collapsed and GHW Bush and Clinton spent the next eight years paying it off. This time with GW Bush the deficits are much worse. But all they can do is talk about more tax breaks for the rich and more spending. So it will not fix anything.
