the chinese market bubble is sooo pre 2000 naz, it's hard to imagine that people don't find it completely obvious....

but there it is

the scary thing about it is that the asian economies are so HIGHLY export dependent....at least in the US, there is a more vibrant 'surface economy' that can withstand the blows of a market bubble

if the west goes into a severe, protracted recession, asia is cooked...i don't know for sure that will happen, but if it does, things will get quite ugly there

you really have to buy into the 'decoupling' mantra hook, line, sinker to think that the stock market bubble burst will not end tragically for those invested there....(and yes, i'm talking to you, jimmy rogers)
