I used to hunt and fish a lot plus bought a side of beef a year. Now I eat so little I do none of the above. Still can't lose weight.

My giant store knows my routine. I am there early am like 6:30. i quickly pick up the items i need, fresh fruit, deli folks see me and chip about 3/4 lb ham for me before i even get over there. then to pick up eggs, fresh rolls or bagels, milk or half and half , then head out. my turn around time from door to door is less than 40 min. max number of trips 2 per week. I always go with a short shopping list and if i want a meat it is because its deep discounted. I keep a small frig and freezer is pack. I cannot afford to do more shopping yet i find it difficult to even use up what i have in the small frig. I always buy items on sale like buy one , get one free regardless of need. If its dry goods it goes to shelves in laundry room and i work them off once i cannot fit anything more on them. same with the meat sale items.. if small freezer full, i refuse to buy another item ,until i force myself to get through the freezer and cook the stuff in it or throw it out or give it one of the kids to take home and use.

amazing how my food bills have shrunk.
