WOW, Michael! Maybe you could take that link and post it to the top 3 of your favorite Republican candidates....ALL of them need to show that graph.....

The very people who are *iching so much about the high cost of everything, are likely the very ones who have stopped drilling in ANWAR, stopped new refineries being built over nearly 30 years, stopped drilling off our shores (but letting Cuba, China and anyone else who wants to drill there, do it), stopped digging more coal, stopped funding research on alternative fuels, etc etc etc.

The Democrats who were on H&C tonight that I talked to Justin about were really mad at...who else? Of course, GWB, because he and his "daddy" were tight with all the Big Oilllll people....and never blaming themselves, and others just like them for their own energy problems and high energy costs.

That is absolutely amazing Michael.

If more people saw that, maybe they'd write their congressman and insist on a new discussion about drilling in Anwar and other places like off shore in the arctic and off of our other coasts. It is just so hypocritical to be on the one hand telling all of us that we are contributing to terrorism every time we fuel up, and then blocking drilling on our own soil. Which of course would decrease our dependency on ME oil by 1 mil.......or more...........barrels a day. Ironically............I think that is approx the amount that we import from the ME.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out where the anti-drilling advocates are coming from. But I do know that many of their policies prevent us from becoming energy independent.......the very thing they say they advocate.
