The demand number is for the coming year. The supply number is for the past year.

There is some hidden agenda perhaps. Who knows.

I find the press rather irritating in these pre-recession times. It keeps saying....'Oil is down on concerns of reduced demand due to a recession. Like electricity, crude demand NEVER stops growing. Its growth may slow, but actual demand shrinkage?!?!?!

Mark Twain (who lost his fannie in the markets several times) once quipped that 'knowing too much can be fatal,' or words to that effect.

Thus it is with the patch. What matters is the perception that demand will drop. Knowing that it won't can only hurt you.
