I know a person who lost his entire investment in a business because he mis-configured his service business and the level of customer service was not prompt enough to compete in the industry. It is too bad for him.

When government charges forward with insufficient information and wastes huge amounts of money who pays for it? You and I pay for it, a small amount is contributed via taxes by the leftwingers who want government to alleviate them of their charitable obligations because they choose not to honor them personally.

"OK. Terminology thing. I would put that in the customer service category, not efficiency. I agree that waiting lists are highly problematic and all but inevitable."

Customers of that industry don't accept long waits. They patronize competitors who profit by delivering the service promptly. Waits are only an inevitable byproduct of non competitive industries. Socialized Medicine is and will remain the poster child for poor resource allocation.
