You don't believe me? <g>

He said the economy is going downhill.

He said the housing problem is getting worse.

Now, I know that, so do most people.

You just don't run around saying so.

You supposed to say GO TEAM and RAH RAH.

Not WOE IS ME AND US TOO.

They asked him whose fault was it that that we didn't see this runaway freight train coming in advance.

Yeah, who's in charge of this mess? Who is the Fed Chairman? Why didn't he foresee the housing problem?

Casey Jones, you better watch your SPEED.

Now hes talking about the WELFARE CHECKS how big and to whom?

I would suggest about $575,000 each to each and everyone making less than $300,000.

That should do it.

WORSE TIMES COMING

I researched and found the data to back up my assertions yesterday about TAX CUTS COST TAXPAYERS MONEY. You learn something every day.

Xavier (and Ben agreed) told me the 2001 2003 Bush tax cuts COST the American public, the taxpayer $3.4 TRILLION dollars between 2001-20019.

Dan Lungren had to come to learn that tax cuts cost the American taxpayer

Due to this big cost, I am going to get a CHECK to buy FOOD. Yesterday I had a 25c box of cornbread mix with 1/2 cup milk and one egg to make some delicious cornbread along with some 69c/pound pinto beans. When I was growing up my daddy told me pinto beans were good for the heart. I got lots of leftovers I am going to have today, because I made double boxes of cornbread and extra beans, saves on the energy costs for cooking. Now don't lecture me on what I eat, I get some okra or collards in there too. Fact is I eat too much just like all other poor folks. I am on a diet for the first time in my life.

I am going to use my GOVERNMENT CHECK to pay REAL ESTATE TAXES. THEY GET IT RIGHT BACK.

I have stocked up on Progresso soup at $1/can already so we can weather the WORSE TIMES.

You don't believe me you look at Xavier's government website below. He provides the link with his back and forth. Look at 1:30 to 1:34 and you will learn something.

JUST NOW IN:

Sec. Paulson just had press conference:

"When do we get checks?"
ASAP
"They say that is TOO LATE"
Well, we going to show them wrong.

"Why aren't you targeting real estate, since that is the problem?"
IT NEEDS TO CORRECT
(and evidently also does the stock market, it need a real good whack too)

"How come you geniuses didn't see this runaway freight train coming?"
Folks were "REACHING FOR YIELD" and "MISPRICING RISK".
NOT OUR FAULT

Now the nice folks that came and looked at our house FOUR times are going TO WAIT for a good long while, til we can get this stuff CORRECTED.

Meantime, nobody is answering my resumes, because I forget to take the dates of employment out, so they can see I am no longer a spring chicken. At least I assume that's why the computers are rejecting them. If you talk to one of the community college graduates in the HUMAN RESOURCES department they will tell you that stuff is all automated now and there is nothing they can do. One time I custom tailored my resume to be exactly what they wanted job requirements to try to fool the computer, but they have an automatic algorithm that deciphers my bag of trix.

I can get $10/hr at the home depot. Plus a 401K too, I imagine.

BECERRA-BERNANKE BACK-AND-FORTH AT BUDGET HEARING

WASHINGTON, D.C. – At a hearing today of the House Budget Committee, Ben Bernanke, Chairman of the Federal Reserve, endorsed the need for an economic stimulus package in accordance with the "timely, targeted and temporary" principles advocated by Democrats in congress and a broad range of economists.

Representative Xavier Becerra (CA-31), Assistant to the Speaker of the House and member of the Budget Committee, questioned Chairman Bernanke on the options before congress to assist the most vulnerable during an economic downturn in light of the budgetary pressure created by the Bush tax cuts.

"We now have to tell the American people that we just came out of the 'best of times' of this 'economic boom'," Rep. Becerra said. "It's hard to believe that in the best of times, we saw the number of people in poverty go up and millions go without health insurance. I think most would agree that we are now going to see some worse times."

Chairman Bernanke agreed with Rep. Becerra that an expansion of the food stamp program and unemployment benefits are options that provide immediate assistance to those in need and a quick boost to consumer spending.
