Through long experience and the school of hard knocks. I did read a bunch of books, but most of it is just watch and learn. I know some guys working on Wall Street and one trader that had a seat on the CBOE, watching him work back when you could actually go right down into the pit with him was quite educating when you weren't getting pencils stuck in your ear <ggg>. My tech background helps in understanding those stocks and my formal training helped in understanding the financial side. I started to do much better when I stopped taking broker advice and went out on my own <ggg>. Regards, John
