how big a dose are you taking 500 gm pills? two at a time. how often ,, once twice, three times a day? i would start out once a day until flashes slow down.. then maybe after dinner. if you want to another couple. then get a blood test in six months. before going higher. dr can decide then.. i went to three times a day for a year but then muscles , joints too sore. stopped and went back to just mornings right now. and no aches. but chol up to 218. so will have to cut back on some the junk i am eating. g

I tried the COQ10 enzyme before and I liked it. It didn't come in a pill form though, it was suspended in honey...and very expensive. I don't take niacin all the time, just when I haven't had the time to exercise much. I take glucosamine every day... if you play a musical instrument you can really feel the difference, it seems to increase finger speed and ease of movement. Ginko Biloba is great too, helps keep your brain sharp and is a good blood thinner (don't take with aspirin).
