I can't figure this out at all. Portland is a dump save a few nice downtown blocks. Some surrounding areas are quite nice and not nearly as expensive. These prices are like New York prices except Portland is NOT New York LOL Even Moscow isn't that high and it's supposed to be the most expensive city in the world. Its only fair to say that there are high rise condos in Vancouver that sell for over 10,000,000.00

My wife did the faux finishing in one of them owned by a real estate tycoon, the man who hired Bill Reid to do the sculpture you see at YVR and the image of which is on the Canadian 20.00 bill. Interesting man. Owned the Hong Kong Marriot among other things, lots of things. Jean Claude van Dame is one floor up in the penthouse of the Shaw Tower, one of the most expensive condos, over 11,000,000 I heard
