Pfizer was one of this month's picks for the Motley Fool Investor as well. Say it's been beaten down but the dividend, strong balance sheet and likely div growth make it attractive.

A friend owned the stock back 7 or 8 years ago when it did a 3 for 1 at $150. I recall him telling me how it would then run again. I think I had a little jealous pang. Since then it has lost 50% and appears to be basing. How long it takes to move up from here I won't pretend to know, but the pay for the wait is good and gets better each year. Unlike many financials right now, money is not an issue with PFE..... he said as he waited. lol!
