JF, from the article:

> Obama began by recalling a moment in Tuesday night's debate when he and his rivals were asked to name their biggest weakness. Obama answered first, saying he has a messy desk and needs help managing paperwork — something his opponents have since used to suggest he's not up to managing the country. John Edwards said his biggest weakness is that he has a powerful response to seeing pain in others, and Clinton said she gets impatient to bring change to America.

Based on this alone, one can tell who the B.S. artists are.

I too keep a very messy desk. A habit which I'm told is not a good one to have if I want to be a successful person, but whatever. That and my habit of not going to bed early enough. But hey, if that were enough to run the country, then Bush with his 10 PM bedtime would be the most successful president ever.

"Because I'm an ordinary person, I thought that they meant, 'What's your biggest weakness?'" Obama said to laughter from a packed house at Rancho High School. "If I had gone last I would have known what the game was. And then I could have said, `Well, ya know, I like to help old ladies across the street. Sometimes they don't want to be helped. It's terrible.'"

He's funny! He refuses to get too serious.

Now I know why I like Obama.....I too have trouble keeping my desk neat. I used to work with a guy who would always clean his desk before leaving for the nite.....when he finished it was spotless to the point where it didn't look like anyone worked at it. Then, as he passed by on his way to the elevator, he would stare at my desk as if it had crabs. I would stare back and then wish him good nite. I hated the smug sucker. Some people are just naturally sloppy. They can't help it. <g>
